Been a while right? Yeah, I know.
A few weeks ago, I went on my annual leave at work. During the period, I decided to stop publishing and critically examine the vision for Krave, the audience to focus on and how best to serve this audience. Well, Iām back like I never left, ready to serve you some of the best content you will ever see on the internet.
A quick backstory
On the 26th of November 2020, I received an employment letter for the role of a Relationship Manager at a fintech company in Lagos, Nigeria. One week later, I accepted the offer and resumed work.
As someone who is very optimistic, I imagined myself signing on top merchants, closing deals, getting promoted in six months and scaling the highest attainable heights in the tech marketing space.
Fast forward to December, 2021 and there I was; no top merchants, no deals, no promotions and possibly the worst sales record in the history of the world (alright, thatās a jokeā¦..or maybe not).
However, between January and June 2022, I established profitable relationships with some of the leading players in the tech ecosystem. These relationships generated over $200,000 revenue in six months.
Reintroducing Krave
On getting into the company in December, 2020, I realized that most of my colleagues also had no understanding of marketing in tech. We were all shooting in the dark hoping to hit the mark.
What made the difference in my performance within a year was my ability to learn, understand and apply the basics of tech marketing within the constraints of my environment.
Like me and my colleagues, there are beginners craving to reach their maximum potential in tech marketing.
Krave will now be focused on providing guidance for beginners in tech marketing to enable them drive sales and scale growth in the Nigerian tech ecosystem.
